You Want More Trump? Michael Moore Quote…

Just as a forethought. I do not like Michael Moore, and I never have. Think about that as you read this quote… Heck, I don’t even agree with everything he said on the post that this quote was a part of, but this one piece says it all. Because apparently, some in the writing community still haven’t gotten the message…

“Everyone must stop saying they are “stunned” and “shocked”. What you mean to say is that you were in a bubble and weren’t paying attention to your fellow Americans and their despair. YEARS of being neglected by both parties, the anger and the need for revenge against the system only grew. Along came a TV star they liked whose plan was to destroy both parties and tell them all “You’re fired!” Trump’s victory is no surprise. He was never a joke. Treating him as one only strengthened him. He is both a creature and a creation of the media and the media will never own that.”
-Michael Moore 11/9/2016

  1. Erics Illusions says:

This comment is from the same Michael Moore who made a critical, judgemental, negative, surprised Oh-how-can-he-be-president speech at the ‘day after inauguration women’s march’? Moore is the media he’s pointing his own finger at. That paragraph doesn’t sound like Moore.

  2. AlanMiller says:

Despite his dishonesty. Moore saw the problem before the Hillary camp did.

  3. Moore does tend to bounce around a bit; which is in the nature of those who deal in polemics.
Having said that in terms of the history and nature of politics (in all its scopes and ages); he has something of a point.
Congress and Senate have in recent years made themselves vulnerable to the charge of ‘antics’ . Folk will look a simple solution outside of the conventional.
